I gave this gift card as a birthday present. The recipient just contacted me because the card has a 0 balance. I checked my bank account and they most definitely processed my purchase and charged me 50 dollars but gave me an empty gift card. It’s very embarrassing to give a gift that is ends up being totally useless. I guess I am now starting the process to see if I can get this fixed.

I love the convenience of being able to buy this & have it sent as a gift. The main reason I didn’t give it 5 stars has to do with a gift card or something included in the package that lets the person getting the card know how much is on the card & who it is from/any type of greeting. The only thing I’ve seen in the past is a very poor slip that looks like it was copied on a cash register tape or paper. It still doesn’t really tell what it is. Every time I’ve sent it, I have to talk with the person to clarify what it is & for how much. I would like to see a decent card or note available to send with the gift, please.

Horrible. Ordered 5 gift boxes in different denominations, The amount of the gift card was not printed on the cards. Had no idea the amount of the card. In order to find the value, I had to download an amazon app, or visit amazon and peel off the claim code sticker. Who every made the decision to save Amazon money should be fired. I am returning these cards, let Amazon worry about it.

Received a Gift Card & gave it as a Christmas present, unfortunately it could NOT be activated/used the Claim Code is invalid :(Called/chat with representative on 1/31/17 who stated someone will contact me within 24 hours via email. 2/1/17 received an email stating that I should call & speak with Customer Support Team. Called & spoke with Rep who stated the form needs to be filled out & this issue needs to be look into by a Specialist. Would someone please reissue this damaged/nonredeemable card & send me the NEW one. It s actually embarrassing to give someone gift card that doesn’t work.Irina F.

The return window closed so it would seem that I have no recourse. I gave this card as a gift and it was unable to be redeemed. I was charged on 12/22/ 2016. Did I just get screwed out of $125?

What a nightmare! Gift card arrives, I peel off sticker to check balance, and find out my $200 gift card has a zero balance. Call customer service, three reps put me on terminal hold after finding out they have one very angry customer who doesn’t want to hear about “we’ll escalate this to our gift card team”. After hours on the phone with people I cannot understand because they don’t speak English very well at all, their solution is to send me a new card. Too bad I needed it as a gift today!Update: new card arrived, and it also shows a zero balance. Customer service rep says THEY see a $200.00 balance on their systems, to which I reply: “The person to whom I give this is going to do the EXACT same thing I did, which is to check the balance and discover it is ZERO!” Amazon’s systems are clearly broken. What a disaster. Hey Jeff Bezos, put one of your 45 personal assistants on this and get it fixed!

I purchased this for my brother for his main birthday gift because I knew he had a few things on amazon he wanted. I was browsing gift card holders but most did not stand out until I stumbled upon this one and KNEW I had to order it. My brother loved the packaging for it and even posted it up on social media for everyone to see. This is ridiculously cute and unique as a gift card holder…plus, who doesn’t love amazon?! I can guarantee you’ll find at least one thing you want off of the website haha. The gift card holder is well made, sturdy and really resembles a miniature cardboard box. There is great attention to detail on the “tape” of the box and it’s magnetized too. I thought it was so cute I was going to order one for myself just to display! This is one of those things where you say “SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY”! 😛 I would give this item 100 stars if possible!

I purchase these Amazon gift card sets fairly often and the packaging on this one has been one of my favorites. It didnt require any additional wrapping and was perfect as it came. The card can be a bit tricky to pull out but it’s a gift so enjoy the free stuff and be happy. Ha!
