When I opened the box, the battery was too low to work, so I ordered new CR2032 batteries. It only needs one, but Amazon has great deals so I got my CR2032 the next day. Talk about easy? The pictures in the instructions made it simple! After using it a few times, I noticed that there is an option to change the direction of the information! You can change it 90 degrees at a time for a total of four options. I’m very pleased with this Pulse Oximeter, right down to the lanyard it came with, and the little case that was included. Other than the battery, it was PERFECT!

Thank you for this sensor. I spent the past 6 days in a hospital due to Covid. in the hospital I ordered this O2 sensor from my hospital bed. The data is as accurate as my Apple Watch and the medical equipment that was used during my hospital stay.Protect your lungs, make sure you’re %’s are in the 90’s and get one of these sensors as fast as you can. Oh, and I promised my doctors, nurses and specialists that I would tell each and everyone of you to GET A VACCINATION!

I bought this for a couple of reasons: 1. part of our COVID monitoring arsenal and 2. I’m an older competitive cyclist, triathlete and mountaineer. I climbed Kilimanjaro last year and while I was by far the most fit of the group climbing (not counting the local support “sherpas” that climb the mountain 4-6 times a year and don’t even notice the altitude!), I struggled the most at the very top, with a PO2 of 76%. I figured it might be interesting to see how my PO2 looked at normal altitudes during and after training, and to use during a Mt Shasta climb planned for this spring – that has been COVID-rescheduled until next spring. The unit’s apparent accuracy (my wife is almost always at 98-99% and I’m typically at 96-97% was confirmed two weeks ago during a cardiac stress test I had done with a fellow athlete cardiologist. During the test we tested this unit against a similar unit used in the clinic. The two read exactly the same – until this one stopped taking readings. It seems this unit has a problem with sweaty hands. I cannot get it to read after a hard indoor cycling training session (Zwift, if anyone cares to know). Even wiping my hands with a cloth will not elicit it to give a reading. In the end, this unit is fine for taking readings while sitting on the couch, but it is not proving to be particularly useful under exercise conditions. I don’t sweat excessively when I train, but even under modest sweating conditions, this unit just will not take a reading. We will probably end up buying another oximeter, if we can find one that works under exercise conditions. If you just want to take a reading for medical purposes during normal people activities, this one will probably work well for you – it was shown to be accurate. However, if you want reading during or after exercise, you might look elsewhere.

I think it’s pretty accurate. It was 98 at first then i didn’t breath for about 90 seconds and it went down to 73

Since most of my doctors appointments are now through telemedicine, I wanted to be proactive and get some medical equipment to monitor my health at home. I purchased one of these and a blood pressure monitor. This little guy works great! You basically press the button, put your finger in and then within seconds you have your info. Take your finger out and it automatically shuts off. This is an important tool to monitor your o2 levels and pulse. My doctors office asks for my vitals when she calls because she knows I track it all. Do yourself a favor and pick one up for yourself, your friends, and your family – it shows you care about them and their health. If you share with others, just wipe it down with an alcohol pad. Easy peasy. You can also change the way the information on the screen is viewed on the LCD screen, but I like the standard one best.

I wasn’t sure which one of these meters to choose, do like you, I checked the reviews. I chose this one, and I’m very happy I did. I run a gym and use this with hundreds of clients, it’s consistent and easy to read.

The oximeter arrived ahead of estimated time and worked well right out of the box. It does not include a battery (AAA) so I used one of my rechargeable batteries. The instructions are clear and you really don’t need to read them except to know how to open the battery compartment. The display is very clear with excellent contrast and it only takes about 5-10 seconds for the readings to settle down.I don’t have any way to check the accuracy calibration, but the values appear reasonable. By simply withdrawing your finger the display shuts down. After having used it for about 2 weeks about once or twice a day it seems to be very reliable. Until I have had it for much longer, a year or more I cannot say anything about long term reliability. In summary the workmanship is excellent and everything works fine, so I can recommend it highly.

I’m an RN and I use this pulse ox daily. It is accurate and easy to use. Portable and with protective/storage case included. It looks nice too 🙂 On colder fingers it takes longer to get a reading just like any other one. My old pulse ox malfunctioned probably because I dropped it too many times. Anyway, it was speedy with the O2 sat readings and accurate as well. This mibest one is a bit slower to read but at least it’s accurate! The display font is clear to read and has good lighting. Overall, good purchase.

Shortly after receiving the Pulse Ox, I unfortunately had to be hospitalized. I constantly double checked the Pulse Ox readings against what the nurse’s readings were. Each time the readings from both were identical. I am very pleased with the product and have already recommended it to a few people.
